Use of LivingFusion is "free" to all users. Users may be anyone 16 or older.

Please note that all users may request a banner ad which may be posted on LivingFusion.org. Such postings do not suggest endorsement by LivingFusion.org or our site sponsor Metropolitan Community Churches. LivingFusion.org is not responsible for any goods or services advertised or acquired through the use of those ads. Ads do not generate any income for LivingFusion.org and are added to this site only if we feel they are interesting, appropriate and a good cause.

You do "pay" us by being good, polite citizens of the community and getting your friends involved. LivingFusion tries to encourage civil discourse and honest disclosure about who you are.

We do ask you to abide by a few rules:

Your Contact Information
• Use your real name.
• Do not post your phone # in your profile or give it out in group chat. You can, of course, give it to someone in one-on-one chat or in a message. But remember that if you give out your phone # you are usually giving someone a method to find your home address.
  
  Messaging on LivingFusion
• Do not use the system to send SPAM - even to your friends. SPAM is any email advertising a product, service or event where the recipient did not explicitly ask to be put on the mailing list. Anyone caught repeatedly abusing LivingFusion to send SPAM will be banned from using the system.
  
  Photo Guidelines
• Do not post inappropriate or revealing pictures. NOTE: Topless photos are not acceptable for people of any gender on this website. You also should not post photos that are excessively revealing, sexualized or obscene. Such photos may be deleted from your account without notice.
• You should only post photos of yourself or you with friends. And you should not post photos that are copyrighted or of some famous person that isn't you.
• Do not post pictures that have only a sexually evokative purpose. Pictures showing someone holding onto genitals (in any condition) are not acceptable. Having your hand (or even a few fingers) in your pants or bra isn't appropriate. And if there's a clear anatomical outline at the genital area visible thru clothes, it is going to be removed. Such photos may be deleted from your account without notice.
• You may post your own original photos of pets and places within reason. Please keep these to a minimum for our sanity and server space!
  
  Profile Information
  
• Do not embed material using HTML- whether images, sound or video - that violates these guidelines.
• Do not put sexually explicit or overly suggestive material in your profile.
• Do not use HTML to confuse people about your links. If a link says it goes somewhere specific, send them there. Do not send them to an unrelated site. Do not post links related to pornography on this site.
• Do not create fake profiles or profiles for anyone other than yourself. And do not create profiles for a business or organization. LivingFusion is for people!
• Do not impersonate another person whether famous or otherwise. Yes, we'd all like to be Ellen (or perhaps date her exs), but, you know, we just aren't that lucky.
  
  Discussions, Groups & Chatting
• Be polite and respectful in all discussions. Others may have opinions that differ from yours, but that is no reason to start a war of words. Posts to public boards or comment areas that are excessive or determined verbally abusive may be deleted.
• Do not engage in character assassination, slander or libel. Basically, if you can't be adult, you should go play in another sandbox.
• Do not make homophobic or racists comments or engage in hate speech. This is an inclusive environment.
  
  Miscellaneous
  
• Do not try to "skirt the line". If the admins think you're trying to push us to see how close to the line you can get, we may well react sternly. We often get stricter with subsequent violations.
• Accounts not accessed for more than a year may be deleted without notice.
• Do not use the system for illegal activities.
• Did I mention that you shouldn't send SPAM?
• Do not wear white after Labor Day.

OK, so that's a lot of "do not"s, but we hope they're all reasonable ones. Just be polite and respectful of other members and that'll cover most of it.

A bit of legal stuff:
Use of LivingFusion is provided to members solely at our discretion. Membership can be terminated for any cause we deem reasonable. You understand that we do not incur any liability by doing so and that we have no obligation to provide you with access to any information about you that was on the site at the time of termination including, but not limited to, information from your profile, a list of your friends, your messages, or information about any parties to which you may have been invited through LivingFusion.
